Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles : The Coin-Op

The second licence based on the antics of those sewer crawling shellbacks. This time, it?s based on the hit Konami arcade game. Can Probe, who programmed the first game redeem themselves from the first game with this one? This is a two player game as you go through twice the number of levels from Turtles 1 to rescue April (again), Splinter (again) and defeat enemies like Rocksteady (again), Bebop (again), Krang and steal the mutant reversing gun from Shredder (again).

Graphics

MODE 0 graphics again, but this time, there is more detail in-game. The turtles and their enemies are very reconisable. The Turtle selection screen at the beginning of the game is very detailed.

Sound

We get some music this time! Although it is only on the title screens but it is good. Beeps are used and I think I could hear a faint explosion for some sequences.

Gameplay

This time, I wanted to play it again and again. Get a friend to join in and work through the game together if you get bored. Follows the structure of the arcade game brilliantly.
