Bonanza Bros

Another US Gold licence of a Sega arcade game. After playing the Amiga and Megadrive versions, I had high hopes for this game. Will US Gold redeem themselves after giving us the ultra rubbish ESWAT? In this game, you control a robot burgular who have to rob houses and other places and escape with your loot.
Graphics
MODE 0 is used here. Not the best graphics in the world, but they serve the gameplay well. The first thing you notice when you start is the use of split screen for the two players. Sadly in the middle of the screen where there is a map is just a line telling you how much treasure is left. Probably left out due to lack of memory. The characters are nicely detailed.
Sound
A very nice title track, Primitive sound effects ingame, but they can be forgiven for this. With the amount of graphics and gameplay squeezed in, they can be forgiven for this.
Gameplay
Nicely addictive. Just like the other versions, I came back to play this again and again (and again to assist in writing this review).
