The aim of this little puzzler is simple. Move the squdgy blob character up and down the playing field and fire blocks with nice icons at those that match. You will need to rebound blocks off walls to reach your goal and each level progresses with increased difficulty. In certain levels, you will get a block which will clear all tiles of a particular icon in a line. If you clear a row of tiles and there isn?t one for you to recieve afterwoulds, you lose a ?life? and get a new universal tile to continue with. You have to clear a certain number of tiles to goto the next level and in later levels, there are airborne blocks to block your way.

Graphics

A cute leading sprite and nice detailed tiles. Makes full use of MODE 0 and the CPC Plus capablilities. It certainly feels like a CPC cartridge game from the moment it loads, nicely done by Ocean.

Sound

A nice track plays throughout the game. It?s a nice catchy tune which doesn?t annoy.

Gameplay

The idea of the game is very simple, as is the idea with most puzzle games involving blocks. But just as it is simple, its seriously addictive. When you lose, you will want to go back and try and complete it! Like with Lemmings, I like to have a copy of Plotting on whatever machines I have, and I?m lucky to have not only a CPC version, but versions for MAME, Amiga and Spectrum. It features a 2 player mode for extra varity.
