In this game, you have to play a bloke who has to rescue his girlfriend from lots of thugs. Go across New York City and take the law into your own hands until you rescue her.

Amstrad Action panned this game when first released and I thought it was crap when I brought it on the Kixx label (there was one consolation - it was a time when they offered free games in a Kixx relaunch promotion - they sent me Cybernoid because they didn?t have Side Arms or Metrocross) so what do I think of it now.

Graphics

The graphics are blocky MODE 0. The graphics barely have no detail and colour is very badly used. The only graphic in the whole game that is worth anything is the logo but that alone can?t save it.

Sound

In-game sound is limited to very poor sound effects while music plays on the title screens which is also a pile of rubbish.

Gameplay

When I first played this game back in 1990, it was easy for me to get into and want to play again (only once though) but this time, I just didn?t want to play it again. The control system is rubbish and it does things you don?t want to do.

Overall:

Avoid like the plague!
