Domark?s first game from the Bond licence is Roger Moore?s last film as Bond which he first appeared in from 1973 in Live and Let Die. The Russians are getting hold of classified circuits which can withstand EMP weapons and they are being leaked to them by a French bloke called Zorin, played with class by Christopher Walken who plans to destroy Silicon Valley in some mad plan. In this bug filled game, you have to stop him.

Graphics

Basic MODE 1 graphics for the first and final level and rubbish MODE 0 graphics for Level 2.

This is a 1985/86 game so you would expect very basic graphics. While they aren?t the worst graphics in the world, they certainly aren?t the best. The title screen has a good version of the James Bond gunbarrel graphic though. For the benefit of the non-Bond fans or for those who have never seen a Bond film, I?m referring to the bit at the beginning of the film where Bond walks in the point of view of a gunbarrel, turns to camera and shoots. Blood drips down the screen before the film cuts in. This does have the potential to be a lot better though.

Sound

A nice version of the Bond theme on the title screen but that?s all.

Gameplay

Easy to start playing, but this game must be the first to have a crap multiload! The game would play well if more time was spent on it and the bugs let it down big time. Levels 2 and 3, I admit I?ve not played properly, but do have the potential to be done properly.

Overall: It could have been good but the bugs and graphics let this game down.
