Before I write this review, I have no idea on what the plot it, so I?ve come up with a plot...
WAR! A dictator has taken over part of the Atlantic Ocean and has an island base. He has his own navy of powerful warships, submarines and anything else you can think of. You are Captain Lewis of the HMS Dreadnaught (no fancy US ships here) and you have to go through the ocean and use depth charges to destroy his navy. You get pick-ups which can give you more ammo or be a smart bomb or even give you a pod so you can go underwater and pick up tokens which will give you something.. Other levels see you destroying huge warships and underwater submarines and rescuing hostages. This game was one of the games featured in Eagle comic?s Computer Warrior series in which he only got ONE life! His fellow computer warriors featured in the final level in which if they died in the game, they died for real life.
Graphics
MODE 0 graphics are used here and are very blocky. The game is nicely animated and is very fast. Colour is well used here and you can see underwater ruins.
Sound
Very poor sound effects are used here for explosions and similar sound.
Gameplay
I wanted to play this game after I saw it in the Computer Warrior strip and it was easy to get into at first but after playing it a few times, I didn?t want to play it anymore.
An intresting game but sadly, it?s a big pile of rubbish.
