The Balrog, aka Stuart Whyte, was [[Amstrad Action]]'s adventure columnist. He took on the role after Steve Cooke (aka [[The Pilgrim]]) left at the end of issue 45. Among Stuart's qualifications for the role were winning AA's "Adventurer of the Year" title previously.
