The first UK computer games company to advertise their games on TV, Micromega had all of the components necessary to be a big player in the home computer software scene but thanks to a mixture of sub-standard products, in-fighting and resting on laurels, they were soon surpassed and failed to recover making their last release in 1985 - their star programmer, Derek Brewster, leaving for pastures new.
