Title: 3d printed CPC cases...
Post by: zhulien on 16:49, 18 June 23
The latest youtube episode of Retro Recipes 3dprints C64 cases.

Does anyone have already created designs for 3d printed 664 or 6128 plus or any other CPC cases that would be printable at PCB Way or other 3d printing services?

I'd love a transparent 6128 Plus case with some modifications or alternatively with a nicely designed M4 expansion case that matches.

Modifications?  Thinking of... internal nice quality stereo speakers and amp, power out (so we can have single power into CPC then power out to M4), correct mounting holes for floppy drive as well as floppy emulator but... with snappable floppy faceplate IN PLACE so that people who do not want a floppy drive do not have a hole.  I am ok to not have internal stereo speakers as external likely sound better anyway.

has anyone tried any of them?  the external floppy drive looks awesome!  I'd love to fit a realy 3" drive in it.  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5416818
