Ok, since I got some spare time over christmas, I just resurrected my good old 464 from the dead. I got this CPC in 1987 (I think) from my parents and it allways stayed in my possession until now. Added a new power switch today, repaired the joystick port and it works (YAY 8) )
So, now that I added the M4 and changed the roms to 6128 with Basic 1.1 I will need a ram expansion since I cannot find my old DK'tronics anymore :-\
Which of those available today will work on a stock 464 without making changes to the internals and will make it a full "4128" 8) ?
Crap, I don't have a 464 with me right now to check my Mother-X, Z-MEM, M4 combo :-X
Congratz for the resurrection and Merry Christmas.

I think that all RAM '464 compatible cards will give you the Dk'Tronics mode you'll be used to and that'll be enough to run most software.
As far as I know though, my universal card (https://github.com/revaldinho/cpc_ram_expansion/wiki/Universal-Amstrad-CPC-512KByte-RAM-Card (http://https://github.com/revaldinho/cpc_ram_expansion/wiki/Universal-Amstrad-CPC-512KByte-RAM-Card)) is still the only one which implements a true 'C3' 6128 RAM mode. Not a lot of software uses this, but one notable exception is FutureOS, so this card is the only one which will let you run that OS on a '464/'664.
I still build these to order, so PM me if you're interested.
