Title: 6128 keyboard membrane - how to access?
Post by: ervin on 09:21, 29 March 12
Hi all.

I'm slowly cleaning my recent 6128 acquisition, but I'm kind of stumped with the keyboard.
I don't know how to get at the membrane.
Any tips/photos/videos of such a thing?

I've found lots of info regarding disk drive maintenance, belt replacement etc, but not the keyboard membrane. :(

Thanks for any help.
:)

Although this video shows the 464 being taken apart for cleaning, the principle / technique is basically the same.

My latest video : Restoration of an Amstrad CPC 464 that was in a very bad way (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/my-latest-video-restoration-of-an-amstrad-cpc-464-that-was-in-a-very-bad-way/msg34381/#msg34381)

Cheers,
Shane
