I have just re-commissioned back my CPC 6128 after 25 years not in use. Gave it a good clean up, changed the belt and followed the detailed instructions of the wonderful forum.

All is working fine, all disks work ( I am still amazed as how the data has not been lost), except for the fact that when I insert a disk and this is not write protected, the PC shall prompt the error, Drive A: disk missing. The write protect pin is place.

Have I missed something out?

Possibly a dry joint on the PCB.
