Sorry if this information was already posted somewhere on the forum, but I think it's worth mentioning it.
If you are looking for new membranes for your CPCs keyboards, there's a German company selling them on their website for a good price:
https://www.sintech-shop.de/tastaturfolie-keyboard-membrane-fuer-amstrad-schneider-cpc-6128-neu-produziert/a-10822 (https://www.sintech-shop.de/tastaturfolie-keyboard-membrane-fuer-amstrad-schneider-cpc-6128-neu-produziert/a-10822)
They also ship worldwide, so nobody is omitted.
Cheers.
That's excellent news, thanks for sharing it!

;)
I have ordered one for me and really hope it will be delivered soon.
They are expensive. A 1 MB RAM expansion for 6128plus is more cheap. But nevertheless I eventually need to get one. 20 years ago I did buy 3x CPC6128 on ebay for that money (including shipping).

Sure I don't have to pay the European VAT here in Japan, so the total price is not so high for me even with shipping fees included.
Back the day in the states in LA the tax was around 3,5%.
But in slave-driver-EU it's 1/5 of the price of the final product! :(
We had a VAT of 3% here in Japan, then 5%, and now we have 8% for food and 10% for other stuff.
Not getting better sadly...
Today I received my CPC6128 membrane, it was packed in U shape, but I hope it's fine. The coming days I will integrate it into my keyboard and keep you updated about my experiences.
Just hope the postman will not insert the parcel into your mail box by bending it. :-\
It was bent inside the box, in U shape, but thanks CPC gods not folded. (Damn English language!). You know what I mean. :)
Hehe ;)

I assure you that Axelay and I had absolutely nothing to do with that. I am happy you were fortunate though!
Mine should be delivered tomorrow.
I hope it won't be damaged and/or folded...
It finally arrived today.
U-shape packed as GUNHED wrote, but not damaged.
If I have time tomorrow, I will install it in the 6128.
Ok, so had some time today to install the new membrane.
Here are some pictures:

Everything works great.
The new membrane is much more stiffer than the original one and should therefore last much more longer.
Really worth it, even if its price could be much lower for our European friends.
:)
Eventually I got my membrane into the CPC6128 and I'm glad to tell you it works just fine. :) :) :)
Great!
Now, you have a 100% working computer (50% CPC, 50% membrane price)
Well this is an interesting development. New 6128 membranes. I will deffo be checking that out.
I did have success with revitalising the existing ones by splitting the layers apart and applying a thin layer of conductive paint to the key contacts.
Deffo worth checking.
