Hi folks,

I'm searching for the technical details (e.g. voltage, polarity) of the power supply that came with the original Amstrad RS232C serial interface. Can anyone help me out? Lots of googl'ing did not help...

Thanks in advance

You need simple 5V DC power supply, with GND outside and 5V on center hole/pin, like the CPC 5V power supply.
However, I do not know how much current it needs, I assume 500mA is far than enough.

My original is rated 5V 0.8A max.

Could you take a picture of it, where the characteristic are readable ? The one on the wiki have a too low resolution.

Trying to read the specs from the CPCWiki picture was my second idea (right after reading the manual and just before disassembling the interface). I've bought one of these: Steckernetzteil Netzteil 5V 2A TP-Link D-Link Netgear | eBay
