Title: Black and white image on TV with scart cable
Post by: brando464 on 16:42, 23 June 19
Hello! Can someone help me regarding black and white image I have on TV when connected my CPC 464 using scart cable? My TV is:SAMSUNGMODEL: CZ-21H42T

I know that there is some pin switch which can signal the TV to set it, but I would like not to change my cable but to set this on TV.

I tried to find this RGB switch option on TV but with no luck... Can this be set in service menu or anywhere for this TV model?

Hi, and welcome!

Can you post a picture of the screen with the CPC image and a picture of the back of your TV showing the connectors?

According to the manual, it has RGB input so it should work.

Also, which kind of cable are you using?

I am not sure what cable is exactly made, but something like this: http://www.cpcmania.com/Docs/Scart/Scart.htm (http://www.cpcmania.com/Docs/Scart/Scart.htm) (just DIN 6 and no 5V on pin 16/18 is all I know). This cable works great on another TV. Can't show picture of screen right now, but it is just normal amstrad screen, only it is black and white.  (https://imgur.com/h934btZ) https://imgur.com/h934btZ
