Hi Beaker,
the switch is correct, it just looked wrong from the first angle. Did you lock the thread or is the Forum playing up again?
Bryce.
Hectic, I don't remember clicking on the lock thread button. I did have trouble posting to it so refreshed the page a couple of times thinking an object hadn't loaded into the browser properly, then it finally did post on the third attempt. Although at the same time I can't rule out that I may have inadvertantly clicked the button though.
Maybe Gryzor could implement a nice little client side prompt asking if you want to lock the thread to stop people mistakenly clicking it? ;D
Thanks for the reply. I'll get on and finish it when I return in May ;D
There were a couple of circumstances where users locked their threads, but unfortunately I can't tell what goes wrong without looking over their shoulder.
Sadly, I cannot add such prompt. Or rather I can, but I won't, because during the last software update cycle I swore to myself I wouldn't do any manual code hacking any more - too difficult to maintain every time an update is done. Sorry :(
