Hi,
a few years ago, I bought a new Competition Pro (https://www.speedlink.com/COMPETITION-PRO-RETRO.html), because my old one doesn't react sometimes...I always wondered if it is fully wired. I opened it and to my surprise all cables are there.The three unused cables (grey, green, blue) have an isolation cap which can be removed easily. So I wired the unused grey cable to the left upper fire button. joy(0)=32

This is really awesome. Now I can fully enjoy Ghosts n Goblins (https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/games/ghosts'n'goblins-two-buttons-hack/), Commando, BB4CPC... Unfortunately it is sold out and Speedlink is bankcrupt... Damn... Should get another one and a Y cable...

Nice one!

All those joysticks with loads of buttons and everyone of them the same.

So many great games could do with 2 button functionality. Like c64 Gryzor. :)
