Hello,
I have been trying for quite some time to find and interface to connect modern media (SD, MMC, CF, whatever) to the Amstrad CPC 6128. I have no electronics skills and a severe case of the shakes, so making one out of schematics is not really an option for me. I need something I can buy assembled and ready to function and I'm willing to pay a substantial amount for it. I came close to buying an SDiskEmul but that didn't work out. Is there anyway I can buy something new or used? Could you point me to another site/forum that I can ask?
Thank you
Aris

"I will post all the necessary files to "make yourself" sure. But I understand that is not a "easy" project: you need an EEPROM / GAL / AVR Microcontroller programmer and not everybody has it."
I've already come across this one. For the foreseeable future this is a DIY project, so it's not for me.
The closest to plug and play I've come across so far is a 3.5'' floppy drive with an Flashpath Smartdisc 3.5'' disc to MMC adapter, and that's already a good deal of work (bying cables and the adapter and putting all together), with no guaranty that it will work!

Hi!
As I say on other post:

Yes, the final version will be RTC and EEPROM friendly with the management ROM.
About comercialize this project, I don't known. I will post all the necessary files to "make yourself" sure. But I understand that is not a "easy" project: you need an EEPROM / GAL / AVR Microcontroller programmer and not everybody has it.
If there are so many people with buying intention, maybe I can pay to others to manufacture the board for me. I don't known pricing of PCB manufacturing anyway
Was I wrong to say that for the foreseeable future it remains a DIY project?
If you have changed your mind and you intend to make these babies (as long as I can run games from it and it does not require any soldering) count me in for 1 to 3 pieces, depending on the pricing!
I already have such interfaces for Amiga, Spectrum, Commodore, NES, GBA-SP, etc and I'd really REALLY love to have some for my Amstrads!!!

Count me in - and I will order 3, one for me and 2 for my CPC friends here in my hometown - of course depending on the price!
How many people are we talking about to make this project go!

Hi!
As I say on other post:
One or two for me...a few more for people I know!
Wow.... hold on a minute!
Wouldn't it be better to keep the "ordering list" in one place? We already have a list in the first thread. Don't try to push me down the ranks!
