I have a sick 464 in need of assistance. It is a cost down rev.4 board. Does anyone have or know where I can get a schematic diagram for this board. I fear there is much to do to get it working.
The memory fitted to the board was two MT4067-12 4 bit dram ICs. I have seen pictures of this board with the memory being made up of eight 1 bit modules but not this one. The memory ICs have gone low resistance and get very hot very quickly. I do not have replacements so am going to either populate the bank of eight or make a 30pin simm fit in there.
Thanks in advance

I've sorted it. I used an old 1Meg 30pin simm. I spent a good few hours soldering wires from the ram sockets to the simm. I now have a working 464 with 1MB of ram. I'll put a picture of the before and after shots. Worth a laugh if nothing else.
Here is an album of images. If it works.

Those paying close attention may have noticed other interesting things.
Enjoy.
Heheheh, this is precious! Some serious bank switching is needed...
Btw, doesn't the use of wires insert timing problems? Or, rather, at what length does it start to do so?
Very neat solution.
Bryce.
Beautilful pics,(and hard to do). ;D
