Title: CPC 464 Plus Tape mod
Post by: ianlett on 15:43, 13 November 17

hi

I am trying to mod a 464plus to allow me to use an external tape source, but I cannot find any info on how to, I did try hooking the input direct to the tape R\W head win shielded cable but it caused to much interference (and yes I did not connect the GND to the tape frame), so I want to try the other direct way, but I all I can find is the info the older 464 tape unit, I have a smaller pcb with only 1 ic on it and I am not sure where to tap the input line to so if anyone can help I wold be most grateful.

pc the tape pcb is JVC75v0 - MT0003A

regards
ian

The red components should already be on your PCB as it's a 464+.
