Title: CTM 644 not powering disc drive
Post by: Falfa on 11:18, 22 December 19
Hi,

Been a while since I used me old CPC 6128 as I have a 6128+. I checked it whilst off on holiday, hooked the 6128 to my CTM 644 and the disk drive wouldn't spin up. There was a red light on the front of the drive but no noise and loading a disc resulted in a failure (retry or ignore.)

I plugged my CPC 664 into my CTM 644 and the disk drive also wouldn't spin up either.

So, it would seem it's a problem with the monitor's power output. Anyone one know if there a fix for it? I had a search around and couldn't find anyone with a similar problem.

Thanks,
Falfa

Have you actually measured the 12V output to see if there's 12V there?

Bryce.
