Title: Dustcovers
Post by: ArnoldtheSwan on 07:50, 03 June 20
Hi everyone,

Does anyone know anyone here who produces dustcovers? I have a 464 and a CTM644 that are in need...I have seen that sometimes they are produced in batches, is anyone doing that again soon?

Thanks 👍

Esto fue muy útil.  Todavía estoy buscando una cubierta de monitor si te encuentras con una.  ¡Gracias de nuevo!

You can custom the designs which is great.

Here's some examples.

The Retrocables site charges me €22 for two covers, the seller over at Amibay charges €19 for one cover (no mention of grouped shipping?). But Retrocables doesn't have a monitor cover.

Anyone knows how they compare? Unfortunately you can't see shit on Retrocables' photos :D

I have the cover of 6128 can take you a picture.

Try ask send they a email. Maybe he can made the monitor cover.

They made wires from demand, not necesarily a item should be in the shop.

Thanks Mark - I have tried registering with Amibay but I get a message saying that they can't register anyone new at the moment because the databas they check forum spammers against isn't working :( Hope they resolve it soon...

I have a set of original dust covers from Amstrad Action(?) - the ones with the red piping, which I found two years ago in a box in the "Amstrad Cupboard from Hell". If you would like a few photos please let me know.

Thanks. I've actually ordered a CPC464 and a CTM644 from Retrocables as listed above - they haven't arrived yet but when they do I'll post a photo 👍

Hi everyone,

Sorry for posting so late. These arrived a couple of weeks back - they take 3 weeks to manufacture and a couple of weeks to deliver due to Covid...but they are here and they look great  :)

I have attached some photographs. I have also been in touch with Retrocables to see if they would make a cover for my FDI drive...i know its small, but it will complete the look...!

Anyway, thanks to Dragon for the tip  :)

These do look nice. But indeed little covers for peripherals would also be quite neat, especially if you store your stuff on shelves...
