Title: EME-150a Disc drive pressure pad
Post by: kolleykibber on 20:35, 04 November 23
I recently had a eme-150a drive damage a disc. Under investigation I noticed the pressure pad on the black lever that pushes against the other side of the disc was slightly off centre. So now I've pulled it out and there's no chance getting it back in. Is there any particular material that this uses that I can replace it with?

Chatgpt told me to by a wool blend felt... So I just bought some of this in white: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353200118590. I'll stick it in with some mobile phone screen high strength tape and gamble a floppy.
