Title: Floppy drive EME 150C compatible with CPC ?
Post by: Kris on 13:07, 14 April 18
I just own a tatung einstein 256, the drive is an EME150C; does someone know if it is compatible with a CPC ? I made some trial on CPC after fixing the usual belt issue but I always ahve a "disc missing".
The drive is a bit different than an EME 156 A, with a Drive select DS0/DS1.

PS: I can not test on my Tatung as i'm waiting for some component to assemble a power supply for it.

It should probably work fine; the EME-150A was used in the CPC range http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Amstrad_FDD_part

It's not a 150A but a 150C and ..........it is not compatible :( I just make a quick cable to power the tatung and the drive is working properly on it.
