Title: Goteks and such...
Post by: zhulien on 19:23, 23 February 23
Goteks and similar devices are advertised as USB floppy drive replacements - what is interesting to me, although I can see lots of photos and people talking about plugging USB sticks into them, I have never seen anywhere that confirms or even denies whether other USB devices work in them - USB floppy drives?  USB hard disk?  USB CDROM drive?

Has anyone tried?

Unlikely, all of those things likely require specific drivers.

And usb sticks don't require any drivers?  What i mean there is nothing implied or written that goteks are for usb sticks.

The Flash Floppy firmware for Goteks supports flash drives and SD cards. I have not seen any comment that it would support any other USB device.
