Hi firends,

a quick question : I'm proud owner of this fantastic board but have a problem.

Using a CPC464, french one (QWERTY), I swapped the roms on the M4board, putting 6128 basic on slot 0 and 6128 OS on slot 31, enabling the Lower Rom (Qwerty roms of course - downloaded from the Wiki)

The 464 runs perfect on Basic 1.1, except the keyboard is Azerty. M4 Firmware is on 2.02.

so I tried to upload on slot 0 and 31 the Qwerty basic and OS (I thought....Maybe a mistake) and the keyboard is still Azerty...

Any idea up there to solve this minor glitch ?

Your method is correct. Only explanation I think, is that the lowerrom used is not AZERTY (wrong labeling).

And please upgrade M4 board, 2.02 is old.

Unpack to root of microSD and insert to CPC, poweron and wait.

EDIT:
Tested the AZERTY variation from this archieve: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/imgs/a/af/French_6128_ROMs.zip
And it changed my keyboard into AZERTY (yuck ;) ) so it works fine.

In fact, it's the opposite for me (I corrected the message) - My CPC is Qwerty and any roms I upload make it Azerty...)

Updated the board - OK

uploaded different roms from CPCPower (UK ones) and the keyboard is still Azerty instead of Qwerty (Of course, I uploaded Qwerty roms).

Still no idea why ?

Can you take a screen shot of the rom configuration you currently have, aswell as a link for the lower (OS6128) and upper (Basic 1.1) you are using.

Solved but I don't know how....
just uploaded 3 times the same roms and Wizzzzz - Keyboard ok.
