I think this was discussed in the past - a mod to be used with an HxC...

I'm not fan of those, because an amstrad CPC with no built-in drive is not an amstrad CPC !!!
Better to have an HxC or something "else" inside the empty floppy socket, than to saw it out..

Ugh. And I thought the +3 with the disk drive removed was a travesty (even though it's just a speccy).
