is it possible to read the x-mass on a pc to add files and roms for use on the amstrad or would using the USIfAC II be better option.
is there a command to copy the files across?
Hello.
The X-MASS is an standard 44-pin IDE mass storage, so you can connect it like an harddrive to any computer (ribbon cable or USB adapter) to add/remove files if it use a standard file system (like FAT32), or using a removable device like (floppy disc, sd card, usb pen) to copy files from another computer to it, like you will do for your PC.
That never occurred to me...
