Title: Saving files from CPC to SD (HXC Floppy Emulation)
Post by: dodogildo on 12:31, 27 October 15
Hey everybody,

I know I look pretty stupid asking this but I just got my first HxC Floppy Emulator (type C) and I couldn't figure out how to save files to SD card on my CPCs (6128 or 464)

I can easily load software (apps and games) as intended but when I try to "save game" and select a blank disk image, I'm having "write protection" error. (Same thing happens when I try to save programs I typed-in from within Basic)

What am I missing?  ???

Is the write-protection tab on the SD card in the correct position?

Bryce.

Yes. if not, I think I could't have transfered the disk images from my macbook to the SD card in the first place?

Well, it's always worth to check again. Did you make .HFE images from Write-Protected Discs? Dunno if this matters, also try to check the Config file of the SD card on PC side with the provides HxC tool. Maybe there is an RO option.

OK, I'm gonna check it again :)

As for HFE images, I mass created them from a complete rar collection I found on the web (I'll check the name of the collection and share with you guys anyways)

I'll also check the HxC tool, thanks for the heads up
