TMTLogic has released a beta version of SE-Play, a multifunctional tool for controlling various (audio)functions of the SYMBiFACE 3, RSF3, and rSE-ONE (all TMTLogic hardware). SE-Play was developed by Hans using the Quigs IDE and runs on SymbOS.
It works on all current "Amsdap"-enabled platforms, Amstrad CPC, MSX and Enterprise; PCW support is planned as well.

Sounds and looks great! Any sampling facilities yet? ( :
Hello,
SE-Play isn't really new : it already worked in Basic with the SYMBiFACE 3 and RSF3 interfaces.
An example, is a program developed by
@HAL6128 , which already allows playback of AAC, MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, WAV, MID, and OGG formats... in Basic.
A video I made:
But I must admit that the graphical port to SymbOS is magnificent !! 8)
Nice work Hans ! ;)
Oh... hmm, I remember it long time ago, it was just a try and not finished (lots of bugs).
But it showed the very easy possibility to access and control the MP3 player and USB drive of the card (SE-One and RSF3) only using Basic. Nice feature.

Unfortunately this is not possible with the current hardware. The Audio-In can only be used for Voice-over-IP calls.
