Does anyone know how I can get ahold of an RSF3 or Symbiface in the United States? I've been talking to Hans from TMTLogic on Slack over the course of a number of months, but he seems unwilling to deal with putting anything in the mail that will go through US customs, so it seems I either need to find someone with used hardware they want to sell or else make a friend in Europe who can handle shipping for me.
There a couple of CPC users in the USA and Canada (not all here in the forum), maybe you can set something up. Like a bigger package with a couple of units, this would save postage.
I'm more concerned about being able to get one *at all* than saving on postage and think that would be mostly an extra complication, but I'd be happy to hear from anyone else trying to do the same.

Strange. I remember being able to get myself tons of retro stuff mailed from UK and Europe when I was in NYC and never paid any customs or suffered any delay. I even ordered an Amiga 1200 from UK which came in a gigantic box. I wonder what worries
TMTLogic regarding US customs..
I have, likewise, ordered things from overseas many times and never had issues with them getting held up by US customs or lost in transit. I even received a PC motherboard from Kiev, Ukraine last summer despite their country being under Russian invasion.
I'm not sure *exactly* what TMTLogic is afraid of, but I think a key issue is the US customs form wanting to categorize everything as either a gift or commerce when a hobby passion project assembled and sold for little to no profit is not really either.
At any rate, he seems unwilling to give dropping an RSF3 in the mail to the US a shot, so I either need to find someone who has done something like upgrade from a Symbiface III to an RSF3 and wants to sell me their old device or else find someone in Europe that I can pay to take delivery of an RSF3 and forward it to me.
Well, send him the money then he will send you the product. :)
