Hi guys, just thought I would share with you my excitement at having a VIDI digitizer - CPCWiki (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/VIDI_digitizer) working in 2013!
I was just about to sell the lot on ebay, because I did not have an edge connector handy, or a Centronics adapter
but luckily my Amstrad Serial Interface - CPCWiki (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Amstrad_Serial_Interface) had a spare edge connector! So I wedged it in.
I had a JVC camcorder ready, but I thought I would just test it with my modern NIKON Coolpix P510 digital camera. Nikon Coolpix P510 Review: Digital Photography Review (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikon-coolpix-p510)
Amazing results! Fairly good quality images on a 30 year old greenscreen. I think I could make a movie using 2000 still shots.
The Rombox has a Vidi ROM inside, the camera is connected via one yellow PRO S Video RCA to a small AV USB type connector.
Cheers! Spooks

Moar! Moar!!! Can you convert them to dsk or otherwise export them?
Of course, the Vidi-CPC can save regular 17 KB screens. However I would use another screen mode with the Greeny Screeny.
