Title: 1993 - Unreleased/Unfinished Video Titling software
Post by: ComSoft6128 on 17:31, 30 May 19
This was to be used, with the Videomaster unit, to add simple video titling to the beginning and end of videotapes.
No Genlock here I'm afraid.

The software was used to make a linear sequence composed of CPC text, text scrollers and screens to give a more polished look to home videos.
This version may be for Beta testing.

A very long time ago, I remember watching a wedding video and I'm 100% certain that a CPC was used for the titles and the cheesy graphics like roses, bells etc.
Pallet, font and mode 0 style gfx were a dead giveaway that a CPC had been used.
Definitely in combination with video editing kit since the cpc output was mixed on top of the video.
First and last time I've seen the CPC used like that.

That's cool :)
I used my CPC during late 80ies/early 90ies for video start screen, info tables etc. for my family videos, too.

I just used BASIC/Context and filmed it with my VIDEO8 CamCorder ... those were the days ...

Boy, talking about low-tech... :D Still, quite interesting that people actually used the CPCs for such purposes!
