Does anyone remember a program which I enjoyed a lot ? (as a kid)
I suppose it was kind of a type-in, which I found in the middle of an obscure tape which came with my CPC.
It was called 'solides de révolution' in french. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_of_revolution in english )
And allowed you to define points on a 2D grid, then press a key to have it plotted as a 3D candle-holder-looking wireframe.
I couldn't find it on cpc power.
Weird -I recorded two similar programs a few days ago for publishing on YT at the weekend:

Hello
Resurrecting the post, because I finally found my program!
It was published in french magazine "Science&Vie" issue #844 from January 1988
https://www.abandonware-magazines.org/affiche_mag.php?mag=85&num=11629&album=oui
pp 128-129 "Créons des volumes" (let's create volumes)
It's a quite small basic type-in. My father likely typed it from the magazine when we bought the CPC.
But I remember having lots of fun playing with it, and was not able to find it until now.
Good catch! I also remember that program! 8)
The magazines Sciences & Vie (very serious publications) were available at the school library. In middle school ("college" in French), we had a mandatory hour per week at that place (for "home" work purposes etc.). I would search for the "old" issues in quest of those articles! However, the BASIC programs only lasted for a while; afterwards, they evolved into other languages, it seems.
Amstrad Computer User published a listing in their August 1991 issue called Lathe, which does something very similar.
