Hello dear people :)
So far both hotkeys 'R' and 'X' call up the RUN icon. (R for RUN and X for eXecute). So far you type r or x and it's like clicking on the RUN icon.
Now my question: Would it make sense to use hotkey 'R' to directly call the X-ROM selector? This new way it would be like first clicking on the RUN icon and then choosing option 4 (to start ROM software)...
An advantage of this would be that you can also call a ROM program with files being tagged already.
(Up to now a click at the RUN icon or typing R or X would execute a tagged file. Only if no file is tagged the options 1-4 of the RUN icon are displayed).
What do you think?
Thanks guys! One thing for the next release in 2024 :)
Hmmm. The more I think about it... it could make even more sense to realize option 4....
This means, whenever a file is tagged the hotkey X and a click on the RUN icon will execute it (that's how it is till today).
But pressing R will lead into the RUN menu, even when a file is tagged. This way you can decide between starting a previously launched application again, call a shell or ROM software.
Option 2 would directly call ROM software.
Please let me know what you think. :) :) :)
Alright, in future the hotkey 'r' will jump directly into the XROM software selector.
The poll remains of - just in case.
Have a great weekend all together :) :) :)
