How do you get Discology from a DSK onto a real floppy?
I have a Gotek as drive B and I now wanted to make some real floppies from DSK images. For that I need a tool that (hopefully) makes perfect copies and my first idea was Discology, which I used a lot in the 80s. However I didn't manage to get Discology 6+ from a DSK onto a floppy yet.
Any suggestions how to do that?
Discology (original DSK file) is protected. Use a cracked version (starting with RUN"DISCO") to be able to copy it. And best, to run it from any drive (A or B). Or a ROM version if you own a compatible board.

Hi eto,
i am using "markerr" and "crime1.8". Works like a charm. 8)
So finally it worked...
I could copy XEXOR from B to A and could then use Xexor to copy Discology over to A. Thanks for the hint with the cracked version. Seems I didn't recognize that on CPC Power there are originals and cracked versions.
Btw:
Like CPM plus, Discology won't work when the Plus boots from a C4CPC.
The spanish AUA userclub has a utility disc that includes Discology 5.1 and several other useful tools: https://auamstrad.es/software/aua-utilidades/
