Hi Prodatron
I am having a problem with Symbos for an Amstrad CPC.
I have just got it setup for a CPC 6128 and its working well Thanks
The setup that I use is :-
X-Mem, X-Mass, 1 Albireo Card (New Version NO Serial) for a Mouse and a Suitable Power supply.
This is using Version 4 (CPC) with Latest ROMS
The problem is that when all the hardware is connected to 2 (TWO) CPC 464's
with Basic ROM 1.1.
It works OK UNTILL I Open Control Panel.
I am UNABLE to Open Properties using a RIGHT Click On any of the Items
Date& Time, Display, Font, start menu, :— Etc
I was wondering if you could have a look to find out what is going wrong
I Have about 20 Years Plus at Servicing the Amstrad CPC Machines
Thanks
Keep Safe.
Ray
How are you powering the CPCs?
With all the expansions together, maybe you'll need a beefier PSU, around 3 amps instead of the regular 2.

Hi
@Audronic,
does the CPC464 boot with the extended desktop? (so does the start menu contain the additional items "Favourites", "Autostart" etc.?)
Or is it simply that everything is collapsing as soon as you launch the Control Panel?
What do you see, when you just launch the Task Manager?
Is it the same when you e.g. don't connect the Albireo?
Cheers,
Prodatron
@Prodatron Yes it opens wi=th the Extended Desktop
No The control panel works OK
I have Tried it without the Albireo BUT I don't know how to "Right click" without a Mouse ? ? ?
It all works except when I have opened the Task Manager
When I open the screen manager on the screen are some icons.
If I right click on any of them nothing happens.
Thanks
Keep Safe
