Hello all
I'm looking to upgrade my 464+ to 128+ just the ram side of it etc.
Does anyone have a kit they can sell me?
You can probably source the parts individually rather than getting a kit.
It's a couple of 41464 IC RAM chips, some sockets and a resistor.
More info was posted here by more knowledgable people: https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/easiest-way-to-upgrade-464-plus-to-128kb-internal-ram/
Or use an external RAM expansion like the Gemini.
BTW: External RAM expansions do deactivate the 2nd 64 KB of internal RAM anyway (except the X-MEM).
Some people have managed to upgrade their GX4000 to 128k. Wouldn't the procedures similar?

It's even simpler as you neither have to solder directly to the ASIC nor solder ICs on top of each other.
Ok I have ordered the 2 41464 RAM chips, does anyone have a link to the resistor I need?
Thanks

Try reading our very own Wiki some time... https://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/464Plus_Conversion
Bryce.
I have completed all the steps to upgrade to 6128 not the disk drive part, how do I tell if it all worked

Run a RAM test like Amstrad diagnostics.
Or any of the programs for which you have upgraded your RAM. If your expanded RAM doesn't work, they won't work either.
The diag rom doesn't work with the multicart so I can not test that way
