Always wanted one of those ;) jusr out of curiosity. Wasn't the missing sliding panel also the switch to toggle between megadrive and PC modes? And if it's missing therefore will the machine even work?

Good question.
Also, having just bought a megadrive 2 I can't justify one anymore.

The switch should be very easy to re-implement with a switch at the back.

I had a MegaPC and adored it. The switch will not affect the machine running, but it will affect the video display; since the switch determines what video output the monitor receives.

You can tell this because when you switch to Mega Drive mode, the computer still does the usual PC beeps when booting up.

I don't really have the cash now anyway. Having bought the following this month....

Sega megadrive 2
Mega ever drive for it
Amiga 600 FPGA accelerator
6 button MD controllers
Mf2 remake (switchable)

Not to mention the 48" 4k TV

Oops. Retro budget lost for another month!

It disgusts me how people can't be bothered to clean items before listing/selling. I don't want their 30 year old dead skin. As soon as I see the words "needs a clean" in the listing then I lose all interest. It all comes down to basic greed and laziness.

Quite a curious gadget

Quite curious indeed, I do not feel like it is very useful, but there must be a niche of users for it, some are already sold...

Imagine that, I wonder who made these... Anyone from the French forums can tell us?

Surely a PS2 would use RCA leads, that thing has 75-ohm antenna lead.
* Using the old Amstrad Languages :D   * with the Firmware :P
* I also like to problem solve code in BASIC :)   * And type-in Type-Ins! :D
