Hi All

WANTED CPC464 Cassette Drive Motor or Datacorder Please (Australia)

The drive motor in the unit is some aftermarket Motor Held in with sticky tape ???
If you have the screws to mount the Motor That would be appreciated.
I am Located in Williamstown Victoria Australia

From what I read somewhere (maybe here) the mechanism is the same as C64s Datasette.
Maybe if you find one or a compatible.

I have just found this Motor from a Commodore Datassette C2N-B Made in Japan

Silk Motor KA409 2z21 Japan

I will compare it with an other CPC464 Motor i have on my main Machine.

Hi Al

The C2N Commodore Motor will NOT fit

I have 6 Of these here and 3 Variations and None of them are suitable

So if anybody in Australia has a spare motor and mount for a CPC464
Please PM me or leave a message here
