By popular request, the issues of CwtA have been uploaded. You can find them here (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=dldir;sa=list;id=14) in JPG format (no PDFs available...).
Gryzor - I noticed in some of the CWTA downloads (e.g cwa8701.rar) they contain contain corrupt/unviewable files.
I've downloaded and extracted a couple of times - and I get same issue I'm not sure what you can do about this one!
Help?
Hm, indeed... apologies for that. There's not much I can do, I'm afraid... :(
It only seems to afflict the 1986-1987 ones randomly - all of the 1985 & 1988 mags are fine.
It is a pain in the ass though, especially December 1986 - It has 34 corrupt pages! So that is kind of a spoiler.
But - Hope is not lost ... you still have a full CWTA collection right ? and a scanner?
I can drop you the mag #'s and page #'s requiring re-scan. ;D
Anyway, here are the editions with the corrupt jpg's:
1986: March, May, July, October & December
1987: January, April, June, July, August & December.
Shame! :(
Fear not TFM ! - Gryzor always comes to the rescue.
I loved CWTA (a big pile of them came with my first, second-hand, amstrad cpc 464). Good listings - I especially enjoyed Frutties (and modifying it to add levels) - that appears to be in November 1985 with the nifty intercity 125 cover picture. Ah, Crackers Velus - Amstrad CPC (http://www.velus.be/cpc-3194.html)
Border_7 - you can buy a dvd here with scan of every issue of computing with the Amstrad.
Zzap Zzuperstore (http://www.zzap64.co.uk/zzuperstore.html)
I probably would have bought the DVD - but 100% of the issues are here on the forum - just a few blank pages here and there...

I loved them too (They were my first love). I never got caught up in the 'This mag is better than that one' - I got as many as I could and enjoyed them all. ;D
Hmmm I may do it if you remember to nag me now and again till I've gone up and into the boxes :) Probably from Friday on, or next week!
Cool as. At least pull these ones aside:

Great, that you did all the work to analyze :)
Oh wow, that's a lot of scanning! Thanks for your trouble. As I said, feel free to nag if I disappear :)
No need to scan. I have these pages, but where can i send or upload them?

Yeah - I didn't think it was that much, but when on paper like that - its more than just a few pages here and there!

I've got all the issues (and more) thanks to Johnny :) Will start uploading tomorrow, my line is full with some backing up backlogs...
Fantastic - quick turn around!
All thanks to Johnny. Uploading as I'm typing this, they'll be online this afternoon :)
Thanks Johnny!
You too Gryzor.
Will you just re-up the complete rars (and delete the old ones?)
Yes I will, apologies for not having done it already :) They're on the server, just need to do some housekeeping!

Brilliant. Checked all the CWTA mags - and they are all good. No blanks. Thanks a lot Gryzor/ Johnn Olsen. Much appreciated.
re: Amstrad Bladet - it probably could do with its own category. Too bad I can't read it :(
