By popular request, the issues of CwtA have been uploaded. You can find them here in JPG format (no PDFs available...).

Gryzor - I noticed in some of the CWTA downloads (e.g cwa8701.rar) they contain contain corrupt/unviewable files.

I've downloaded and extracted a couple of times - and I get same issue I'm not sure what you can do about this one!

Help?

Hm, indeed... apologies for that. There's not much I can do, I'm afraid... :(

#3

It only seems to afflict the 1986-1987 ones randomly - all of the 1985 & 1988 mags are fine.

It is a pain in the ass though, especially December 1986 - It has 34 corrupt pages! So that is kind of a spoiler.

But - Hope is not lost ... you still have a full CWTA collection right ? and a scanner?

I can drop you the mag #'s and page #'s requiring re-scan. ;D

I loved CWTA (a big pile of them came with my first, second-hand, amstrad cpc 464). Good listings - I especially enjoyed Frutties (and modifying it to add levels) - that appears to be in November 1985 with the nifty intercity 125 cover picture. Ah, Crackers Velus - Amstrad CPC

Johnny Olsen

Border_7 - you can buy a dvd here with scan of every issue of computing with the Amstrad.

I probably would have bought the DVD - but 100% of the issues are here on the forum  - just a few blank pages here and there...

I loved them too (They were my first love). I never got caught up in the 'This mag is better than that one' - I got as many as I could and enjoyed them all.  ;D
