Ok, the German Boards seem to be pretty much dead. Should I remove them and move the threads to the respective boards?
Make it so.
I guess it can be moved...
Also:
On Schneider / Amstrad CPC Forum - Index (http://cpc-live.com/forum) is another German forum, too...
(I am sure Gryzor has nothing against this little advert, as he is a member there, too ;) )
Yeah. The point is not to push users to other fora, but to allow mixing languages (something that already happens) in all boards.
Of course....
Everybody should be welcome here, and, IMHO, if a user for example just speaks Spanish and opens a Spanish thread here, even is welcome...
I do the same in Greek, Spanish, French fora, too... (In English)
We perhaps should also open a thread here, with links to several fora, for all people who prefer posting in their native languages, but perhaps don't know, a CPC - or a Retro-forum with a CPC section exists...
That's taking it a tiiiiny bit too far. There's a section on the wiki for that.
Ah ok, didn't know that... I more use this forum than the wiki itself, as you know ;-)
Didn't realise the other forums allowed people to write in their own tongue, though it would depend what response (if any) you got back.
Quite often people will write in German or French (usually), that's pretty ok...

Sorry, I just meant the French Forums prefer French, likewise with the Spanish & German. Though people have done that here, not that it bothers me.
Usually people prefer their forums in their native tongue. That said, I've been welcome to speak in english in french forums, as I politely asked first.
The CPCWiki is an interesting case, as it's not written in Gryzor's native tongue.
Well the wiki itself could not afford to be a local effort, and once we took over after the Zone's demise it was only natural...
