I prefer IRC. :)
IRC also had the advantage, that there are clients for multiple platforms, like e.g. mobile phones.

So is the freenode or any other IRC channel still alive? I may consider starting to hang around there again.
I am chatting on Neoxys and Freenode regularly. Most people on Neoxys, but the language is mostly french on both networks.
Channel name is #cpc on both networks.
So, I'm connected on freenode now. Neoxys insists that my host is banned. It's a dynamic DSL IP adress. Whatever...
