Hello guys,
Today we noticed some potentially suspicious behavior on the board. To cut a long story short:
Do not use the emails from the memberlist to spam and advertise other sites or products.
It's ok to post about them in the forum itself, if the posting is relevant to our interests, but it's NOT ok to use the memberlist to fish for email addresses. If anything of the sort comes to our attention -- consider yourself banned.
We should note that after we set up the wiki and the forum and ironed out the problems we haven't had any issues, really. But, of course, you should always think twice before revealing your email address. On the other hand, no spammers get through and if anything happens it will most probably come from a regular member, in which case we can deal with it...
Thank you,
The CPCWiki team.
Can't you check in settings, that new member's mail addresses are hidden from public by default?
I'm not sure, but in any case it's a member's decision to hide it or not...

I agree with that. But it should be hidden by default ;)
