Hi Gryzor,
these new preview screens, which appear on mouse over, are a quite nice technology ;)
But at least here in Germany nobody wants to have them, as they are quite annoying and cost a lot of additional bandwidth.
Could you remove them again or make them at least configurable (default=off) per login?
In any case I see no sense behind this, as all CPCWiki pages are very text based and have the same general layout.
Sorry for the criticism, but I hope you understand...

Hello mate,
No worries, everyone's welcome to offer any criticism they want!
I was just experimenting. Indeed, as it is it doesn't make much sense. Two options: one, have it off by default and have users enable it. Two, enable it only for external links.
Third option: remove it altogether.
I'll probably have it only enabled for external links...
Cheers
Gryzor
Good idea! As there are not such a lot external links it wouldn't be annoying anymore. And as it can be interesting to see a preview of the other sites, it would even make sense in this case.

Will do it this evening (eh.. rats, no, make it tomorrow evening, today I'm going to a concert... Tori Amos, Air, James :) ), just generated the code. I'm not only disabling it for internal links, but also I will make it so that the preview window is activated only when you mouse-over the little icon, instead for the entire link.
...as I said, it was only an experiment, so I loaded with all its options :)
...aaaand done. Thanks for your feedback, mate!
Here in the first post.
Prodatron says that.
Rob here!
Now it loads at a decent speed.
Long live the CPCWiki! ;D
