Hi all,
I was browsing the forum on my Android phone and got a notification saying this forum is Tapatalk compatible. I've installed it and tried logging in but it tells me I can't because either my password is wrong or it isn't enabled on the forum. Any ideas which it is guys?
I have regular problems logging onto the CPC Wiki forum, but only if I used the Login button along the top.
Usually at the first attempt it tells me my password is wrong, but if I enter it again it works.
This doesn't seem to happen if I use the login box at the top directly under the logo.
Woohoo! You were right! Thanks :-)

@redbox, thanks for reporting that. I've had the same trouble, but since nobody else ever mentioned it I never bothered looking into it (no time and all). But if others have that problem, too, then it's worth investigating...
@betpet: oh man, and I was wondering if anyone uses Tapatalk :D Is it nice?
Very. It's like using the forums as normal but without the shiny fluff you get with themes, etc. Just pick the forum, then the category, then the thread and read like a SMS conversation.
I like it anyway :-)

Just kill this message on the end of your posts and you're away...!
The "sent from my iPhone" signatures still bother me... if every email someone sends me has this on I assume 1) they're a moron for not removing it and 2) they spend zero time in their office and are out skiving in Starbucks all day.
Fixorised :-)

Good stuff. Bonus points if you used Z80 to do it 8)
small test. :-)
All this talk about Tapatalk made me look for a client for my newly aquired Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro, and found one.
It seems to work fine too. :-D
Hm, spoke too soon.
Seems buttons like "Latest" and "Messages" doesn't work.
"Latest" buttons gives me a "You may not have permission to access this feature" message. ???
"Messages" gives me a "Reponse received from server is invalid. Please try again later".
Sorry - can't test :( I'm trying to resist upgrading my Diamond 2 to an HTC Desire...

and Linux.
Sorry, not a patch on modded winmo ROMs I'm afraid...
I tried Tapatalk now and it says the version at this forum is out to date (and I get login troubles too).
We get only a handful of mobile users; if it's really important for you I'll try and update it :)
No, it's not really important, I only wanted give a try. The other forums I read don't are supported (at the moment ;) ).
Miguel, I've just added Tapatalk just for you :) Feel free to leave any comments!
And for those who haven't noticed, if you visit the wiki on your mobile it uses a special mobile skin...
Good timing! I'm going out of town tomorrow. :-)
Heh, cool, but please do test it beforehand and let me know :)
It's a shame that Tapatalk on iPhone cost 2.39€, specially because i can navigate quite good the CPCWiki in the browser.
May I suggest you to try http://www.amstrad.es/forum/ (http://www.amstrad.es/forum/) from your mobile devices? They did an upgrade a couple of weeks ago and it's pretty awesome!

Ah yes, phpBB has a great mobile skin... I'll see if there's something similar for SMF.
