Title: Testing off-topic tag
Post by: Gryzor on 18:52, 06 July 13
There's a button, too, but you can use

[ot] and [/ot]

to mark off-topic

[ot]Whatever happened to Keeley Hazell?[/ot]

Good, that means we can have an off-topic marker and the off-topic material in the spoiler.  :D

Can you add it as an option that automatically marks all of my posts as off-topic? :D

[ot]
Yeah, what did happen with Keeley, she hasn't been in the headlines since that dodgy episode with Cole?

Bryce.

I could always open a "Bryce" sub-forum :)

[ot]no idea about the "Cole episode", but last I heard of her she had done a breast reduction. Some things you shouldn't have the right to do.[/ot]

I wanted to know if I could have an Off-Topic marker outside the Spoiler box, but to keep the Off-Topic message inside, so if people wanted to they can read it by clicking the button knowing it's off-topic, or skip it without having to read the off-topic message  ;D

I thought it looks good to have an Off-Topic Marker so people see that it's off-topic, and if they choose to read it, they can click on Show to Show the Message. Don't know what's complicated about that.  ;D

Maybe it would be better to have that offtopic tag by Default, and only if you Switch it off be Hand it would disappear. That would be just more efficient to handle for most of us.

@AMSDOD: no, because most users always click on the Spoiler to see what's underneath. So it's an extra step, and inconvenient.

@TFM: oooh touché!
