Music demo by the Donut Crew from 1995 using converted Amiga files.
Another excellent music demo for the CPC - In this video I play tracks: 1, 5 and 2.

Track 1 - 2:38 to 5:44
Track 5 - 6:10 to 9:32
Track 2 - 10:02 to 13:34

Unfortunately due to a hardware issue synchronization is lost between the speaker cones
and individual instruments/voices but as the old saying goes "the music's the thing".
The intro track, I think, is a single from the UK band The Beautiful South and in itself is well worth listening to.

Now...........Turn Up Da Volume!

Not emulated - original hardware and software.

Please note that  the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

Horrifying that this is 25 years old!  :o

Not necessarily my best work but always pushed on the presentation side and stepped that up for volume 3. Thanks for posting.

My pleasure.

I've been looking at volume 3 this afternoon and I'll be posting it in a day or so - great animation at the start :)

Cheers,

Peter

If you keep pressing ESC during boot of volume 3 there's a hidden demo with details of how it was made!

I remember obtaining this from Slice of Donut System in 1995 or 1996 when we were posting discs to each other and swapping programs. This was the first time I'd heard Digitracker music and it was one of those "WOW!" moments. 8) I had encountered sampled speech before on the CPC but I'd never heard full-length music with digitised instruments before.

Exactly!

And 25 years later "WOW!" here too.
In fact when I listened to it for the first time I was thinking that the demo wouldn't have been out of place at some of the parties I went to in the 90's - though whether that reflects on the quality of the music or the state of the "party faithful" (or both) then is hard to determine now :o

Gryzor

Thank you both. I thoroughly enjoyed that.
