1989 type-in from the November 1989 issue of the French 'Amstar & Cpc' magazine.
What we have here is a sound to light converter which gives a dynamic visual display based on the input from audio tape, usually music I guess.
Now if I still had a working datacorder I would have been able to show you exactly what this program does but unfortunately I don't so if you use the link below you'll be able to to see the type of screen output this program could achieve:

I use two of the menu options so what little is displayed is of the "ghost in the machine" type.
Also there is a little sampled speech (played x3) which is a neat touch - its obviously in French,
can anyone translate?

Not emulated - original hardware and software.
Please note that the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

It just says "vumetre" (the French word for "volume unit (VU) meter" or "recording level gauge").
